Recent Projects

Blood at the Root

A production photo from Blood at the Root at Penn State

My final design at Penn State University was the 2022 revival production of Blood at the Root. The play originally premiered at Penn State in 2014. As the Sound Designer, my job was to bring audiences out of Penn State’s Pavilion Theatre and into Louisiana in 2006. As part of my sound design for the show, this production of Blood at the Root was the first show at Penn State to have prerecorded Audio Description that ran during every performance.

Nostalgia Night

Penn State Centre Stage’s first production of 2022 was the world-premiere of the musical Nostalgia Night. I had the opportunity to mix the show in Penn State’s newly renovated Pavilion Theatre. I got to work on the Yamaha QL5 mixing console to bring the show to life for audiences.

Penn State Men’s Club Ice Hockey

During the 2021-2022 season, I worked with the Penn State Ice Lions as Director and Production Manager to livestream their games for family members and fans around the globe. From coordinating personnel to implementing live-streaming solutions, I worked to make sure fans around the world were able to watch professional, reliable streams of the team’s games.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Penn State Centre Stage’s return to live theatre began with a production of Simon Stephens’s adaptation of Mark Haddon’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and I had the opportunity to work on the show as the Composer. I wrote original music for the show that was used as underscoring, scene changes, and to add another layer of texture and depth to the production.
